For Students
What do I need to get started?
Who are our Students?
- Ages 3 to 12
- Ages 3 to 5: Must have a parent present to assist with instructions as necessary. Daycares should have a teacher or assistant available during classes.
- Are able to follow simple instructions
- May have an interest in sports or aren’t sure what their sport is yet
- Not athletic, not a problem! Many kids that take up tennis are not your traditional athlete
You will need:
- Sneakers or appropriate shoes for Tennis
- Water bottle
- Willingness to learn a new sport
- A Personal Tennis racquet
- Ages 3 to 5
- Recommend size: 19 inch or 21 inch
- Ages 6-9
- Recommend size: 21 inch or 23 inch
- Ages 10-12
- Recommend size: 23 inch or 25 inch
- Ages 3 to 5
Class Options:
Current available classes: Red Ball and Orange Ball.
Red Ball:
Red Ball is our Intro to Tennis class and harnessing basic skills required to further your tennis dreams. This class is great for kids that are brand new to Tennis or age 8 and under. We work on the basics needed to build to bigger and better things. Many kids typically take this course 3 or 4 times before moving to Orange Ball. Moving to Orange Ball must be recommended by Net Ninja Coach or recommendation by another Tennis program.
- Pre Ninja
- In this three part class you will learn the basic skills to be able to learn tennis skills. You will learn a lot about balance and hand eye coordination.
- Forehand Ninja
- In this course you will learn how to hit a forehand and also how to aim a forehand at a target.
- Backhand Ninja
- In this course you will learn how to hit a backhand and also how to aim it at a target
- Volley Ninja
- In this course you will learn how to hit forehand and backhand volley.
Orange Ball:
Our Orange Ball program is for our more advanced kids. They have to have mastered the Red ball course or have played tennis previously and come with a recommendation from another program. Recommended ages are 8-12.
- Lobs Ninja
- In this course you will learn how to hit a lob and also attack an overhead.
- Serve Ninja
- In this course you will learn how to hit a serve
- Placement and Footwork Ninja
- In this course you will learn how to set up your positioning so you can place the ball where you want it to go on the court.
- Game Ninja
- Learn the basics of game play

• Can aim/hit Forehands towards a target
VOLLEY NINJA
• All the requirements for Forehand Ninja

• Can hit five backhands in a row
LOBS NINJA
• All the requirements for Forehand Ninja
