Tennis,
for the rest of us.
We started Net Ninjas because central PA needed a tennis program built around how kids actually learn — not how academies want them to perform.
A few things that guide every decision we make.
Affordable on purpose
Tuition stays under $200 a block because we don't carry a building, don't pay academy overhead, and don't believe tennis should be a luxury sport.
Patient by default
Every coach can spend a session teaching one six-year-old how to bounce a ball without losing the room. That's the bar.
Games, not drills
Kids learn through play. We dress fundamentals as games until they're better than they realized.
Small classes, every time
Eight kids per coach, max. Anything more and you're babysitting; anything less and the social part of the game disappears.
I grew up wanting to play tennis. There just wasn't a program that was affordable, close to home, and built for kids my age. So I built one.
Carley Furlow
Founder & Head of Coaching
Most kids don't see a tennis racket until high school. By then, the door is mostly closed — coaches are scouting, ladders are set, and a beginner has nowhere to land. Net Ninjas is the on-ramp: low pressure, low cost, and built around the way kids actually learn. We'd rather make a hundred future players than chase a single prodigy.
The story
How we got here.
Carley founded Net Ninjas in 2020 after coming home from college and realizing that the only youth tennis options nearby cost as much as a gym membership and were built for travel-team families. The first season was eight kids on the West Hanover courts. Since then, over two hundred kids have come through the program. Same idea: real instruction, low pressure, prices a regular family can swing.
Find your kid a class
Winter blocks are open across all four locations. Most classes cap at eight kids per coach.
