We're always looking for coaches who'd rather be on a court than anywhere else. Collegiate players, HS coaches, retired pros — every level welcome if you're patient with kids and steady with a racket.
The non-negotiables.
Patience over polish
We'd rather have a coach who can spend twenty minutes teaching one kid to bounce a ball than the most decorated player in the region.
Reliable
Two months of Mondays at 5:30. Showing up matters more than star power. If you're going to ghost in week three, this isn't the gig.
Solid fundamentals
You don't need a college pedigree, but kids will copy what they see. If your forehand is shaky, this isn't the right time.
Background-check willing
Standard for working with kids in PA. We cover the cost.
What you'd get out of it.
Real pay
Hourly rates above market for the area. We share the per-block revenue, not a per-class flat that pretends we're volunteers.
Small classes
Eight kids per coach, max. Coaching is enjoyable when you can actually see each kid.
Equipment provided
Rackets, low-compression balls, cones, nets. You bring water and sneakers.
Flexible commitment
Take one block, take ten. Coach in summer, skip the school year. Tell us what works.
